About Bill Gross
Known as the original “Bond King,” Bill Gross retired from a more than four-decade career of active investing in 2019 to focus on managing his personal assets and philanthropy through the William, Jeff and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation. He cofounded Newport Beach, CA-based Pacific Investment Management Company (“PIMCO”) in 1971, where he oversaw the growth of the Total Return Fund into the world’s largest mutual fund, with assets as high as $293 billion at its peak. Firmwide, PIMCO reached assets under management of almost $2 trillion during Gross’s tenure as Chief Investment Officer. He joined Janus Henderson Group in 2014. He was named Morningstar Fixed Income Manager of the Decade for 2000 to 2009, and Fixed Income Manager of the Year for 1998, 2000 and 2007. Institutional Investor in 2011 named Gross the recipient of its Money Management Lifetime Achievement Award, writing: “With size comes influence, and few if any asset managers — bond or equity — have had a bigger impact on markets over the past decade than Bill Gross and PIMCO.” As a philanthropist, Gross has donated in excess of $700 million to multiple educational, cultural, healthcare, and community organizations, and has pledged to donate the bulk of his wealth to charity.

About Jennifer Gross
Sustainable development practitioner and Blue Chip Foundation co-founder Jennifer Gross is based in Los Angeles with her husband, Peter Stengaard. She has spent over a decade addressing systemic causes of poverty as a partner in program development and solutions-focused research that build on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals framework.
Over the course of this decade, Jennifer has contributed to annually published reports about the world’s progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the science of happiness and well-being, including the Sustainable Development Goals Global Index and the World Happiness Report, among others. Relatedly, she has been a founding member of several initiatives with the Pontifical Academy of Sciences at the Vatican including Ethics in Action, Faith and Science for Happiness and Sustainable Development, Pan-American Judges Summit on Social Rights, the Environment and Social Justice; and African Female Judges and Prosecutors on Human Trafficking.
A graduate of Duke University, she serves on the board for the Duke Global Health Institute, as well as on the boards for the Association of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Millennium Promise, VII Foundation, VII Academies in France, Bosnia, and Thailand, and Pharia Foundation.
As a director of the William, Jeff and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation, Jennifer leads much of the Foundation’s international and economic development grant work.
About Jeff Gross
Award-winning photographer Jeff Gross is based in Los Angeles, CA. Gross’ career behind the lens, which includes an extensive portfolio with Getty Images, began by snapping images of surfing as a teenager while growing up in Orange County, CA. Driven by the excitement and energy of sports photography, Gross followed his ambition to the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. Gross officially began his career in Park City, Utah, shooting in a boutique studio.
He later joined Getty Images, which led to Gross’s 16-year, globe-trotting career at Getty covering countless sporting events, and professional and amateur athletes. He continues his career as a freelance photographer by implementing his core values of loyalty, honesty and consistency. Gross’s accolades include a two-time winner of Getty Images Sport Portfolio of the Year, Getty Images Picture of the Year, and in the Top 3 POYi Sports portfolio competition.
